Copies of this Catalogue, giving prices realized, neatly executed in red
ink, 50c cents. Cash with order. Acquaint yourself with the prevailing
rates for coins, etc.
Coins and Medals are sold at so much per piece. Kindly make your
bids accordingly. Do not bid by the lot. If a lot contains 10 pieces and
you desire to offer $2.00 for it, make your bid 20c.
My terms for buying are 10 per cent.
Auction Sales are strictly for cash. Parties unknown to me must send
a deposit covering at least 25 per cent, of their bids, otherwise they will not
be accepted.
My ratings of the condition of Coins and Medals, and the state-
ments made in my Catalogues as to their rarity, etc, are to be distinct-
ly understood as based on my personal judgment, formed after an ex-
perience of twenty-seven years as a dealer.
Gradings of Coins or of lots, in other catalogues, should be credit-
ed to those who compile them, and their interpretations of this very
important factor, should be valued according to whatever experience
they may have had, the knowledge acquired, and their integrity of
purpose.
